Enabling movement and reducing friction is one of the main tasks of our bushings. Even though they are mainly used in the wheel or castor industry, they also get things rolling in other industrial sectors such as construction, mechanical engineering or heavy industry, including metallurgy or power generation.

OUR BUSHINGS IN ACTION – APPLICATION AND INDUSTRY EXAMPLES

From small motors and transmission shafts in power tools and household appliances, to axles, drive and steering components in passenger cars, motor vehicles and commercial vehicles, to large components such as rollers, piston rods and conveyors in heavy industry – our bushings are indispensable for guiding and embed rotating or linear movements in a wide range of mechanical applications and, above all, ensuring that they are as low-friction as possible.

Due to their guaranteed roundness and the associated optimal running properties, our axle bushings are often used as plain bearings even without roller bearings. Their outer surface provides the running surface for the running body, which makes it predestined for the production of transport equipment, wheels and castors. Tube and bearing bushings also serve as running surfaces for roller bearings. They are particularly recommended when the surface of the housing bore is relatively inaccessible.
